Cheryl is one of the founders of GWF. Their mission is to grow healthy people through providing fresh organic produce, food production and education on nutrition and growing your own food. Their primary focus is working with military veterans by introducing then to sustainable agriculture. We will be touring their new location and learning more about hydroponics.

Discover useful ways to save time, energy and money while gardening. This show and tell demonstrates smart strategies for both indoor and outdoor gardening throughout the year.

Program: "Incredible Bats" Speakers: Daniel and Sharon Peterson
Place: Byron Colby Barn in Prairie Crossing 1561 Jones Point Rd, Grayslake
Sharon was trained at Bat Conservation International and Dan is a bat naturalist. This presentation covers the many benefits of this misunderstood and feared creature. Native and world species will be discussed. Live bats will be displayed.
