Community Spring Plant Sale This year the Plant Sale is May 18, 2024.
Location is downtown Grayslake next to the Village Hall. Homegrown perennials, annuals, herbs and other plants (including several species of heirloom tomatoes started from seeds) are donated by members. The plant sale is an important fund raiser for the club, allows us to fund various local philanthropic projects as well as scholarships for the next generation.
Horticulture
Our Horticulture Committee works with the Library Lane senior residents & the Grayslake Senior Center to plant & maintain their flower containers and in-ground beds around the building, and also decorate for the Holidays. The residents help with the dead-heading and watering during the summer season as they are able. There are also monthly Garden Therapy craft projects with the residents. A fun activity for everyone involved. Sign up at the Senior Center
